Bramante is an art and design studio that produces exquisite, one-of-a-kind liturgical art pieces for the religious worship environment.
Each of our liturgical art pieces is exquisitely crafted to exacting standards, enabling the creation of both truly beautiful as well as lasting art treasures. We have helped to adorn over 5,000 churches and institutions worldwide.
Bramante Studio designers, architects, and artisans work in a variety of different media, including fabric, carpeting, resin, bronze, wood, and carved glass. The richness of our creative palate, and our considerable experience in all these media, ideally suit us to integrate new pieces into a larger harmonious whole or take on the most demanding of interior renovations in a comprehensive and sympathetic manner.
Bramante Studio's Art Directors, Abraham and Emily Mathew
Abraham and Emily established the studio in 1993 after graduating from Canada's top fashion and design school. Their technical knowledge, combined with a sophisticated sense of aesthetic, has enabled Bramante to become a world-leading design studio within the religious art market.
The design team divides their time between their residences and studios in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Monte Carlo, Monaco.
"As an art and design studio, we believe in preserving artistic integrity in all our work and in all our mediums in an uncompromising manner. We believe that liturgical art is a passionate and not just a pragmatic exercise."
